****NEW PROGRAM**** DEEP ROOTS CENTER LLC  Deep Roots Center is now offering classes focused on Flexible Thinking, Perspective, and Problem-Solving. -A Welcome, play-based learning space where children build social learning, executive function, big-picture thinking, flexible thinking, perspective-taking, and problem-solving skills.   -This class engages participants through structured, well-researched games and hands-on activities that build essential social learning and executive function skills. Participants practice seeing the bigger picture, developing flexible thinking, managing impulses, taking the perspective of others, and strengthening problem-solving skills in a supportive and engaging environment. -No prior experience required. Participants will be supported in a learning basic group routines and engaging in skill-focused activities with facilitator guidance. Each week we will do a variety of activities and easy drills that will teach kids to use their feet and learn the basics of soccer drills. Parent/guardian participation is required as part of the program. Parents will help kids remain focused and engaged in the activities, and some of the activities are structured around parents playing too! ***NEW Program added for 2 year old***No class 9/19Instructed by Coach Kerry & Recreation Department staff.

Flag Football with New England Flag FootballNew England Flag Football runs and facilitates flag football program across New England. We offer recreational and competitive flag football for boys and girls ages between 3-14 organized by age division.The New England Flag football league for boys and girls ages 3-14, the program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continues action while learning lessons in teamwork.The goal of the NEFFL is for everyone to play, teams are typically small with 7-10 players, which gives every player a chance to be an important part of the team. Our focus is on making sure everyone is having fun while learning the basics of the game, teamwork, and important lessons in sportsmanship. Each player will receive a jersey and flag football belt, one shared football for the team, and certificate of excellence (Lil Ballers & 6U) or rings/medals for finalists. Team practices are at the discretion of the coach and are subject to field space availability. ***For the very first time, we are thrilled to offer a dedicated Girls' Flag Football Division! For grades 3rd - 9th up to age 14. PreK through 2nd grade are part of our co-ed divisions. Whether your child has played sports for years or is picking up a football for the very first time, our encouraging coaches will teach the basics in a friendly, low-pressure environment. All she needs is a pair of sneakers or cleats, a mouthguard, and a willingness to try!Our Town of Sharon Flag Football league will be held on Sunday mornings/early afternoons at Sharon Middle School September 13 - November 1 (rain date - November 8th). There will not be any games on October 11. Seasond Schedule:September 13th: Pre-Season Games September 20th - October 25: Regular Season Games (No Games October 11)October 25 - Last week of play for Lil BallersNovember 1st: Championship Games (Rain Date November 8th) Games will start anywhere between 8am and 2pm depending on your age division.Volunteer coaches are essential to running the program. Join On The Barre Dance Studio for a variety of dance programs for all ages. This section is for registration for a variety of youth dance programs. For kindergarten and pre-k dance programs, please find their separate page on our website. Please see the descriptions below for each program: Happy Feet: AGES 3-5 A fun 45-minute combo class introducing young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet and tap. We offer recreational and competitive flag football for boys and girls ages between 3-14 organized by age division.The New England Flag football league for boys and girls ages 3-14, the program provides young players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continues action while learning lessons in teamwork.The goal of the NEFFL is for everyone to play, teams are typically small with 7-10 players, which gives every player a chance to be an important part of the team. Our focus is on making sure everyone is having fun while learning the basics of the game, teamwork, and important lessons in sportsmanship. Each player will receive a jersey and flag football belt, one shared football for the team, and certificate of excellence (Lil Ballers & 6U) or rings/medals for finalists. Team practices are at the discretion of the coach and are subject to field space availability. ***For the very first time, we are thrilled to offer a dedicated Girls' Flag Football Division! For grades 3rd - 9th up to age 14. PreK through 2nd grade are part of our co-ed divisions. Whether your child has played sports for years or is picking up a football for the very first time, our encouraging coaches will teach the basics in a friendly, low-pressure environment. Join On The Barre Dance Studio for a variety of dance programs for all ages. This section is for registration for a variety of youth dance programs. For kindergarten and pre-k dance programs, please find their separate page on our website. Please see the descriptions below for each program: Happy Feet: AGES 3-5 A fun 45-minute combo class introducing young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet and tap. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our clubs include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each participant receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate; however, full-day kids should bring their own lunch. Please see the descriptions below for each program: Happy Feet: AGES 3-5 A fun 45-minute combo class introducing young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet and tap. Dancers will build coordination, rhythm, and confidence while learning the basics of both styles in a fun and engaging environment. Level 1 Ballet/Tap/Jazz: A 1-hour combo class of traditional dance styles for Grades 1 & 2. Ballet shoes, tap shoes, and jazz shoes required.
