Infant & Toddler Exploration: This class will focus on exploring, creating, and investigating while developing social/emotional, cognitive, and physical skills. We will have hands-on experiences with art, sensory, and developmentally appropriate materials, while focusing on learning through play in a group setting. The class will be structured by having a short group time, books/music, free-play, bubbles and art/water/sensory exploration!Kids & Coffee: This open playspace is designed to allow children to explore in an age-appropriate environment, while adults can chat and make new friends. Children ages 0-3 years old will develop social and emotional skills while investigating with many creative materials and gross motor equipment. Coffee will be served and memories will be made during this weekly playgroup! Afternoon Adventures with Miss Mollie! Join us for an afternoon adventure of learning, investigating and creating! We will a read a book in a group setting, learn by play with many toys/materials, have fun with bubbles, and explore different art/sensory and gross motor activities!Winter Open Play! Drop-in during the winter on Friday mornings to play, socialize, learn and grow. We will have many toys and materials to explore, art/sensory to create with and gross motor play! It will be the perfect way to escape the cold and have fun while staying active this winter! Please note that the $8 fee is per class and that participants must have a Sharon Recreation account created in advance to register.

The Recreation Department is happy to be partnering with Miss Maura & Commonwealth Music Therapy to bring musical enjoyment to little ones in Sharon! Registration for the winter session is on a per-week/per-session basis.Waddlers & Young Toddlers (ages 7 months-18 months): This music class is tailored for those little ones ages 7 months - 18 months understanding and interactingwith the world around them. Through music and play, your little waddler and young toddler will engage in a variety of music experiences designed to support and enhance their many domains of development and learning; Emotional, social, physical, verbal, and more! Toddlers (15 months-3 years): This music class is tailored for those little ones one the go, ages 15 months - 3 years! Perfect for preschoolers and toddlers alike, through music and play participants will engage in a variety of music experiences designed to support and enhance their many domains of development and learning and strengthen their independence! We will have hands-on experiences with art, sensory, and developmentally appropriate materials, while focusing on learning through play in a group setting. The class will be structured by having a short group time, books/music, free-play, bubbles and art/water/sensory exploration!Kids & Coffee: This open playspace is designed to allow children to explore in an age-appropriate environment, while adults can chat and make new friends. Children ages 0-3 years old will develop social and emotional skills while investigating with many creative materials and gross motor equipment. Coffee will be served and memories will be made during this weekly playgroup! Afternoon Adventures with Miss Mollie! Join us for an afternoon adventure of learning, investigating and creating! We will a read a book in a group setting, learn by play with many toys/materials, have fun with bubbles, and explore different art/sensory and gross motor activities!Winter Open Play! Drop-in during the winter on Friday mornings to play, socialize, learn and grow. We will have many toys and materials to explore, art/sensory to create with and gross motor play! It will be the perfect way to escape the cold and have fun while staying active this winter! Zap! Zip! Lights! In this electronics class, students will learn all about electricity, circuits, problem solving and so much more. With each class, students will engage in various activities and create projects like LED cards, potato and lemon batteries, amongst many, many more.Instructed by Shanna Belenky

Through each session, kids will develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and learn fundamental engineering concepts in a playful and stimulating environment. This Sharon tradition is making a come-back! Celebrate community, family, and fishing! Grab your fishing pole to enjoy a morning of fishing with your family and meet new friends. Bring your own bait (we will have some extra for those who run out). Top prizes will be awarded to most unique fish caught, largest, smallest and more!  Thanks to our friends and Sharon Fish & Game and Rick Ripley for reintroducing this timeless classic.  Coffee and pastries will be provided for everyone!
